Reasons For Infertility – The Obvious Issues About Infertility

Saturday, November 17th, 2007

When trying to come up for the reasons for infertility a couple can quickly develop a negative mindset and begin to blame many circumstances. It’s only in the case of unexplained infertility cases where answers aren’t available that perhaps some tags such as unfair can be bandied about.

Still, staying positive will keep your emotions in check and more importantly, keep a relationship on track.

Reasons For Infertility

Let’s examine some of the reasons someone may be infertile. In women, the obvious reason may be age. Age brings with it natural changes in a woman’s ovaries and eggs. Eggs in particular diminish in quality with age not to mention in quantity.

There is also no guarantee the ovaries will produce eggs on a regular basis as she gets older. Then comes the onset of menopause and if a child hasn’t been conceived by then, she’s run her race.

Other factors such as drinking, alcohol and other substance abuse is known to contribute to the quantity and quality of eggs produced each month by the ovaries.

Male Infertility

When looking for reasons for infertility in men, the most common factor is the quality, quantity and life span of his sperm. Sperm count can be affected in many ways and as with women, any abuse of substances such as alcohol, drugs and smoking can seriously impact the quality of a man’s sperm.

Other issues such as malformed sperm, erectile problems, ejaculation or issues with their ejaculation ducts can all play a part in infertility issues.

Other Issues

Other reasons for infertility have to do with health issues. Reproductive organs which are compromised because of diseases and conditions will seriously impact the ability to conceive. Hormone issues are another area of concern. This affects both men and women and can either lead to infertility in women or have impotence repercussions in men.

We’ve presented just a few possible reasons for infertility but there are many more issues which can delay or prevent conception. Conception is a delicate process and both men and women need to be functioning in the right alignment for it to take place.

Just one problem in either can cause issues. Good news is, in the majority of infertility cases, the problem is eventually sorted out through thorough testing procedures and that’s why you should never be discouraged at the first sign of infertile issues.

Blood in bowel movement

Saturday, November 17th, 2007

Colon cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in the U.S.One of the main sign of colon cancer is blood in stools.
Normal Bowel movements are the basis of your health. If you do not have at least one bowel movement per day, then you are already walking your way toward disease especially if you have blood in bowel movement . It is a fact that our body has not changed very much in the past several thousand years… however our diet has certainly changed a lot. All the white flour, refined sugar,hormone/antibiotics-filled meats we constantly include in our diet constitute an assault on our bodies. We are continuously doing harm to our bodies by eating terrible foods.

Constipation is one of the most frequent bowel disorders that people experience today. Constipation is considered as the main cause of bowel problems .One instance where you can have blood in bowel movement is by passing a large stool that you can tear the tissue around your anus thus giving yourself a cut and this will cause pain after bowel movement. or it can even be caused by eating red colored foods or by different conditions including hemorrhoids, anal fissures, colon polyps or colon cancer, diverticular bleeding, or inflammatory bowel disease.

When you have no bowel movement or have an irregular bowel movement then you are in a situation in which the transition time of toxic wastes is slow. The longer the “transit time,” then the longer the toxic waste matter sits in our bowel, which allows them to ferment, putrefy and possibly be reabsorbed. The longer your body is exposed to putrefying food in your intestines, the higher the risk of developing disease. Even if you have one normal bowel movement per day, you will still have at least three meals worth of fecal matter putrefying in your colon at all times.

Disease normally begins with a toxic bowel. Those having fewer or no bowel movements are therefore harboring a potentially fertile breeding ground for serious diseases. Poor quality or infrequent bowel movements over an extended period of time may be very dangerous to your health.

There are ,in fact, many different things that could cause rectal bleeding or blood in bowel movement, some more serious than others. The two most common causes are because of anal fissures and hemorrhoids. Either of these problems may be caused by constipation.

Blood in bowel movement or in the stool is never normal, and could be a result of several conditions that range from mild, such as hemorrhoids, to serious, such as colon cancer or infection. Blood in stools should always be evaluated by a physician.

Not all of the causes of bloody stool are serious. There is a good chance that the causes of blood in bowel movement are relatively minor and easily treated. However, you should allow a health care professional to make that determination. It is not recommended to perform a self-diagnosis especially when there could be more serious causes of bloody stool. Colon cancer is the second cause of cancer deaths in the United States, but up to 90 percent of cases could be prevented with early detection and treatment.

In order to have a loose bowel movement you must change your actual unhealthy diet to one rich in raw fruits and vegetables with very few cooked or processed foods to help keep your digestive system free of mucoid plaque. Easy and regular elimination will be the rule, toxins will not build up and foods will be fully utilized and digested. A normal bowel movement will enable you to have an optimum nutrition that will allow rejuvenation and peak vitality. Of course it may have taken years or decades to get the body so full of toxins and plaque , so it will be a process, although faster, to detoxify and cleanse your colon and get your body pure and back to its highest possible state of health.

Foods that burn belly fat

Thursday, November 15th, 2007

Apart from reducing calories and doing physical exercises there are indeed certain foods that burn belly fat . These fat burning foods are also called negative calorie foods.

Foods that can burn belly fat include fruits rich in vitamin C like lemons, limes, oranges, grapefruit and tangerines. These fruits have fat burning properties. Other fat burning foods are asparagus, cabbage, beet root, broccoli, carrot, apple, blueberries, and watermelon. It you eat these foods that burn fat and do some physical exercises, it will boost your metabolism and also burn calories at a faster rate for several hours even after exercise.

As pointed out by the American College of Sports Medicine agrees — the best way to burn fat and achieve a “six pack” abs is to focus more on lowering total body fat through aerobic exercise and diet.

For even faster weight loss and for optimum health, it is very important to get some “good” fats into your diet from such sources as seeds, avocados, nuts, olives, olive oil and fish oil.

Do you also know that apart from the foods that burn belly fat as mentioned earlier, calcium in dairy products can boost weight loss by increasing fat breakdown in fat cells. When comparing a dairy-rich versus a dairy-poor diet you can nearly double the rate of weight and fat loss with the same level of calorie restriction. You must include in your diet nonfat dairy products high in calcium. A research by scientists at the Department of Nutrition at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, found that subjects who included nonfat calcium sources in their diets lost more body fat than calcium-free subjects.

In a study published in the journal Metabolism found that water helps mobilize fat stores, while dehydration prompts stubborn fat to sit tight . Many weight-loss experts also confirm that drinking one ounce of water (or any non caffeinated and nonalcoholic beverage) per pound of body weight is the key for effective fat burning.
