Nothing can be more stressfull to male or female than noticing large clumps of hair on the brush or in the bath or shower. Perhaps baldness is the thing most dreaded by men, although psychologically it is women who suffer the most.
Once upon a time it was thought to be linked to a mid-life crises, but ideas have changed as a greater number of men in their twenties have suffered baldness male hair loss. The causes and reasons behind hair loss are many, and the effects can damage self-esteem and self-confidence. Alopecia Totalis usually manifests itself without any kind of a warning. The problems can become apparent with missing hair showing in small patches. When i had a beard a number of years ago, I saw a small patch of hair loss which grew larger over the space of a few months. First of all I laughed, then I became irritated and finally I had to shave the beard off for embarrassment. Many with this condition, as in the example, suffer temporarily and usually make a full recovery of the problem area. But if it doesn’t recover within a few months, it could mean permanent damage has occurred.
